Our 3rd appointment was today. We heard the heartbeat again. Its at about 160. A little slower than last time. But its bigger now so a slower heart rate is normal. Chris said it sounds like someone waving a stick around really fast. And I'm about 5 lbs more than last visit. Everything looks good. WebMD says it should be about the size of a peach. =)
Sorry, no new pictures. We don't know the sex of it yet. Wait another month. They're a very "non evasive" approach kind of office so they don't want to do too many ultrasounds and such. The less messing with the kid the better, they say.
The grandparents came to visit the other weekend. Their first glimpse of the pudge, as one cousin put it... in reference to another. We all had brunch with my whole family, minus the Sac sister. And it turns out my middle sister is due in November. Congrats to them!!! Now I'm not alone. =) Feel free to share my thunder. We actually know a lot of pregnant people. I guess everyone wants their own little golden piggy.
