All Clean

Our shower/bbq was a blast. Well, that's what I was told. I suppose I was in the kitchen most of the time making sure the food kept on coming. Ah, the work of a hostess. But I got a lot of help from my family. Thanks everyone!!
I didn't even see more than half the food from the grill like the chicken drumsticks/thighs, 3 racks of babyback ribs, 2 tri tip.... And I barely got a glimpse of what other people brought. I hear the apple caramel bars were stupendous and the pasta was delicious as well as the cake and 7 layer dip and cheese with bread and cookies and pies and artichoke dip and spam masubi and soba and homemade pot stickers and potato salad... getting hungry yet? Lots of food for lots of people.

We were so busy running around dealing with food or mingling that we didn't take that many pictures. So if you've got some, send them our way please. =) We have some that we'll post soon.

Special thanks to my sisters for setting up the baby shower for us. And thanks to my brother for getting the huge chocolate cake. It was yummy. We had a lot of fun with the mind challenging games and the cool prizes and decorations. Honestly, how many people actually know the term for baby llama, skunk or donkey? Or memorize the lyrics to 25 nursery rhymes? Okay, maybe some mothers might know them all. But these were tough games.

We appreciate all of you who came out to celebrate with us. Your generosity always astounds us. And thanks for the far travellers that took the time to come all the way out to our neck of the woods. I wish I could've had more time to catch up with you. Its been a long time since I've seen some of you. Well, you know where I'll be 'til January.

Anyway, we had a lot of fun and I hope you all did too. If you couldn't make it that day, you were there in spirit. And thanks everyone for the cool baby stuff. The little lady will be super prepared for everything.
