Merry (one month after) Christmas

Cathleya's long division is getting better and is now spelling 3 syllable words. Okay, it hasn't been quite THAT long since I've written, but it's been a while. Mommy promised I'd write a little something about Christmas and the New Year, so I am here, one month later, trying to recall the events that transpired on our trip to Murietta.

First of all, isn't that cute? with the monkey?

The week started out at auntie MayMay's where Cathleya got to know her cousin a little better.

Here she is with Mommy. Cathleya's not jealous... that often. More on that later.

So after a night at the Banducci's homestead, we're off to Murrietta. Straight to Lolo and Lola's Christmas Nativity and talent show. Cathleya got a big bouquet of balloons (big enough that I thought she'd get carried away) and we got to take in a good meal.

All around, Christmas week at the Franciscos was a lot like this...

Although we hit a few bumps and snags. In this particular instance, the new baby was invading on her territory. :) She was just so used to all the attention. In the end, she shared. What a good girl!

Ah, then there was Christmas Eve.

A few things about Christmas Eve...

- We intentionally, willingly, actually TAUGHT her to rip things open and throw around the packaging.
- She likes lumpia.
- She's to ready to stay up til midnight.
- Noisy toys. No more please.
- Long car rides are getting better. What a trooper.
