So we're having a bbq on the 18th and I asked a few polling questions. Since Evite won't let you see, here are the results... (I'll update as I get more. Feel free to add some to the comments)

Parenting Advice:

• Don't shake your baby
• Patience
• If all else fails, duct tape them to the staircase. That always works
  for me
• Be patient at all times
• Learn from yours
• Auntie Angie to babysit
• Don't do it
• You are no longer in charge. Don't try to anticipate and prepare for everything -- Take things as they come so you can roll with whatever she decides to throw at you (metaphorically speaking).
• Take turns with everything so you'll always know how the other parent feels
• Don't drop the baby
• Appreciate every second & every tiny milestone, because they grow up way too fast
• Don't worry...you'll get used to the mess (and stink and crying). Keep sharp and fragile things at least 3 ft off the floor. Phones, iPods, & watches sound the same when banged against the floor.
• You may always wonder if you're making the right decisions, but know that you're doing what you know best.
• Watch transformers.
