"Momma's had all sorts of visitors..."

We've had all sorts of visitors.

We try to be good about capturing moments in photographs, but of course, we forget sometimes. But even though we don't have pictures of everyone that stopped by to visit Cathelya for the first time, we'll take a little bit of Internet space to acknowledge everyone. Maybe pix will surface later on.

Anyway, of course my parents and my brother and sister stopped by the hospital on Cathleya's birth day. Chris' family drove all the way from southern California on Saturday and stayed with us for a few days. It was a nice surprise to see my cousin Mark find his way to our hospital room that Friday. The Monday after was Columbus day and my oldest sister took the day off to since my niece's daycare was closed that day. So they decided to visit us during their day off. My college friends, Henry and Mark came by during their lunch hour to visit. Henry, Joyce, and Chris came by again later that week. They all came back again this week for dinner. For some reason we only have a picture of Uncle Alex with the food, not the baby.
Uncle Dave and Auntie Helen came by with dinner for us.Over the last few months we've been thinking about who to choose for Cathleya's Godparents, or Ninong and Ninangs. Combined, we have a lot of friends... some raised Catholic, some practicing Catholic, most none of the above. Although, most of our friends fall under the first or last category. So choosing Godparents was a little challenging. But along with the religious background, we wanted to choose people with good character, morals, ambition, perseverance, and all that good stuff to be positive roll models for our daughter. So the winners are... Dave, Dinnah, Kathy, and Mark. =) You've been our good friends for a long time, through thick and thin, and we're honored to have you as Cathleya's Godparents.
