"I'm gonna be a big sister"

Cathleya has been very loving toward her new sibling. She took the news of being a big sister fairly well. It took a while for it to sink in, but her daycare pal is going to be a big sister too so she's had some exposure to the whole big sister thing for a few months prior to the news. Now she'll talk to baby, sing to baby, kiss baby, even eskimo kiss baby sometimes. Although she sometimes wants to talk to baby when we're out in public. Sorry kid, Mommy's not lifting up her shirt so you can talk to baby with creepy strangers lurking about.

She used to flip flop between if she thought it was a baby brother or baby sister. Lately she has more consistently said baby sister, but we won't know for a few more days. Hang in there. Be patient.

Like Cathleya, this new kid's been pretty good to me so far. Besides one week of queasy, tired, blah feeling early on, I've been doing very well. If it weren't for the bump, I wouldn't know I was pregnant. Hopefully this keeps up through the end. We're just at the halfway mark to July 26th. Someday we'll post new pix of Cathleya. Again, patience. Thanks.
