Cathleya has started saying Daddy. :) Sorta.

She started imitating me in a way. She'll say Dadda, but some times she'll continue it. Daddadaddadadda. So that's 3 Daddas. Occasionally, she'll mix it up. She'll throw in a "B." Or she'll throw in an "L," and so forth. DAbalDabaDa... The only constant is the "A" sound and a "D" sound thrown in there somewhere for good measure. :)

It may be babbling, but I count "Daddy"as her first word. As promised. She'll get a car at 16.*

Anyway, next order of business is adding the "M" sound to her repertoire. I can't have her always calling me. That just won't do. So every chance I get, I've been trying to teach her how to say Mama. Melissa will let you know how that goes.
